Qmac VHF90M
The VHF-90M Low Band VHF transceiver is a state of the art communication device, specifically designed for multi-role tactical military and security applications. At only 1kg with its battery, it is an extremely compact and light weight unit. The VHF-90M complies with Mil-Std 810F environmental specifications for immersion, shock, vibration, dust and temperature, and is ideal for voice and data applications in short to medium ranges. Q-MAC’s VHF-90M provides exceptional performance and flexibility for today’s demanding and varied communication needs.
The VHF-90M transceiver offers four modes of voice communication and three modes of data communication, allowing operators to adapt to the required conditions and sensitivity of information being transferred:
When used with a short antenna, the VHF-90M is an ideal squad level communicator. When combined with an integrated Docking Station and Amplifier, the VHF-90M becomes capable of brigade level communication where longer ranges are required. The versatile unit is easily adapted between manportable, vehicle and base station configurations, simplifying equipment logistics.
The VHF-90M features only essential controls on the front panel, making it simple to operate in demanding, mission critical conditions. Advanced programming functionality is available in sub-menus and the unit can be either field or PC programmed. The VHF-90M provides digital encryption; frequency hopping; selective, group and broadcast calling; data transmission; and legacy compatibility with PRC-77 style radios. The unit's backward compatibility with legacy systems provides additional interoperability.
This revolutionary new transceiver incorporates the very latest in RF and DSP design technology. Q-MAC's VHF-90M is the most compact, cost effective and versatile high performance VHF transceiver available in the tactical market today.
