Aircraft Selective Calling Controller

The Type 8228 Selective Calling Controller is intended for use with the Codan HF2000 and HF1000 range of airborne HF SSB Transceivers and provides the same facilities as Option SDEM with the addition of an

ALLCALL button, enabling all stations in the network to be alerted simultaneously. It is Housed in a small control-head matching that of the HF transceiver.

NOTE:- The use of digital selective signalling on an aircraft's primary HF transceiver is prohibited by Department of Aviation regulations.
